Younger is a comedy-drama about 40-something single mom Liza Miller, who after her marriage falls apart finds it nearly impossible to restart a career in publishing. When she’s mistaken for someone in her twenties, Liza decides to adopt a younger persona to get back into the industry. With a makeover and the support of her best friend Maggie, she lands a job as an assistant at a Manhattan publishing house, befriends a twenty-something colleague Kelsey and deals with a demanding boss, all while juggling romantic possibilities and the complications of hiding her true age. The series explores reinvention, ageism, friendship and the price of pretending to be someone you’re not.
