Rafael Belvedere, a 42-year-old restaurateur, is stuck in a rut: consumed by the family business, living in his father's shadow, distant from his daughter and unable to commit to his girlfriend. His mother, who suffers from Alzheimer's, is in a care home, and when his father decides to fulfill her long-held wish to marry in a church, Rafael is drawn into a family project that forces him to slow down. A minor heart attack and a reunion with an old friend prompt him to reassess his life, reconnect with his past and loved ones, and start making different choices. The effort to create a new memory for the family becomes the catalyst for Rafael’s emotional renewal.
