Host follows six friends who, stuck in lockdown, book a medium to run a séance over Zoom. What starts as a bit of online fun — including one guest’s made-up story about a boy who hanged himself — quickly turns deadly when that prank appears to summon a real, malevolent presence. The entity begins to terrorize them through their screens and into their homes, transforming their virtual get-together into a desperate bid to survive the night.
