John Brennan (Russell Crowe) is happy with his wife Lara (Elizabeth Banks) and with her son Luke (Simpkins), but her life experiences a dramatic turnaround when she is accused of murder and sentenced to twenty years in prison. Brennan, convinced of her innocence, will do everything possible to get her out of jail. Remake of the feature film "Pour Elle", directed in 2008 by Fred Cavayé, which in Spain premiered with the title of "crossing the limit".
