Phileas Fogg, an eccentric London inventor, has just discovered the secrets of aerial flight, electricity, and even in-line skates, but Victorian society takes it for granted. Desperate to be taken seriously, Fogg challenges Lord Kelvin, the visible head of the Royal Academy of Sciences, through an incredible gamble: he claims that he will be able to go around the world in less than 80 days. Accompanied by his valet Passepartout and Monique, the French artist in search of adventure, Fogg embarks on a fast and frantic race around the world that will take them by land, sea and air to the most exotic places on the planet.
