Massachusetts, 80s. Dicky Eklund (Christian Bale), a conflicting boxer but with talent, tries to redeem hearing his younger brother. In his good times he had been the pride of his hometown for once lying to the world champion Sugar Ray Leonard; But then the difficult times came in which he sank into a dangerous mixture of drugs and crime.
