Twelve-year-old Max (Jacob Tremblay) is desperate to survive his first “kissing party," so he and his best friends Lucas and Thor skip school to practice — and to spy on the older girls using Max’s dad’s drone. When the drone goes missing, the boys set off on a chaotic, day-long misadventure to replace it, accidentally get mixed up with stolen drugs, draw the attention of police and rival teens, and scramble through a series of bad decisions as they try to fix everything before the party.
