In 2047, the rescue ship "Lewis and Clark" was sent to investigate the mysterious reappearance in Neptune's orbit of an experimental ship, the "Final Horizon", disappeared years earlier with its entire crew. In 2040, the ship "Final Horizon" was launched into space to explore the confines of the universe, but disappeared without a trace. While the rescue mission tries to find out what the fate of the disappeared has been, strange events take place on board the ship.
