Having already taken down two of her former partners, she methodically closes in on the remaining targets: Budd, Bill’s reclusive brother; the ruthless, one-eyed Elle Driver; and ultimately Bill himself. Along the way she dismantles their defenses and inches toward the bloody reckoning she’s sworn to complete.
Vol. 2 also fills in Beatrix’s past: her fierce, traditional training under the legendary Pai Mei, where she learned a brutal, secret technique, and the help she received from retired swordmaker Hattori Hanzo. As she hunts her enemies, shocking truths emerge — including that the child she believed lost is alive and in Bill’s care — forcing Beatrix toward a final confrontation that promises both vengeance and closure.
