After leaving rehab, former Boston police officer Megan Reed takes a night-shift job at the hospital morgue where she once got sober. When the badly mutilated body of a young woman named Hannah Grace is brought in, Megan begins to experience unsettling sights and violent occurrences in the cold, empty basement. Isolated and increasingly convinced that something malevolent inhabits the cadaver, she struggles to make others take her warnings seriously because of her past addiction and trauma. As the nights wear on, the disturbances grow more dangerous and relentless, forcing Megan to confront a ruthless, supernatural force linked to the corpse.
