Year 1962. Tony Lip (Viggo Mortensen) is an italo-American hard-core Bronx man who is hired as the driver of a virtuous black pianist Don Shirley (Mahershala Ali). They will both undertake a tour of concerts in the South of the United States, where Tony must keep in mind "The Green Book", a guide that indicated the few establishments where African Americans were accepted. They are two people who will have to face racism and prejudice, but to which fate will unite, forcing them to put aside differences to survive and thrive on the journey of their lives.
