Year 2012. Robert Neville (Will Smith) is the last living man on Earth, but he is not alone. The other human beings have become vampires and they all crave to drink his blood. During the day he lives in alert, like a hunter, and searches for the living dead while they sleep; but during the night he must hide from them and wait for dawn. This nightmare began three years ago: Neville was a brilliant scientist, but he could not stop the spread of a terrible virus created by man. He has survived because he is immune to the virus; every day he sends messages by radio hoping there are other survivors, but it is useless. All he can do is look for a formula that allows him to use his immune blood to return to men his nature. But it is in inferior condition and time is running out.
