Maharaja is a quiet, small-town barber whose life revolves around his daughter Jyoti and a humble household object they call "Lakshmi" — a dustbin they believe brought them good fortune. When burglars ransack their home and steal Lakshmi, the distraught man goes to the police but is met with ridicule and disbelief. Undeterred, he presses the officers until an investigation is opened, uncovering a string of leads that point toward a violent local gang. As Maharaja digs deeper, he uncovers connections to a darker plot of revenge, and what began as a simple theft becomes a dangerous, unraveling mystery. The film follows his determined search to reclaim what he lost and to protect his daughter.
