Cop Land (1997) Netflix
Babitch (Michael Rapaport), a New York policeman, drives at night back home when he is attacked by two individuals. He tries to catch them, but when they point him with a gun, he instinctively shoots and kills them. In an instant, the bridge is filled with police, who prove that the aggressors had no gun, and decide to act on their own. All live in a New Jersey neighborhood where the Sheriff, the Belomon Freddy Heflin (Sylvester Stallone), has jurisdiction on the case. The matter jumps to the media, so that the Internal Affairs researcher (Robert De Niro) decides to intervene.
