Eight-year-old Peter, already lonely and picked on, wakes each night to a steady tapping coming from inside the walls of his bedroom. When his parents dismiss the sounds as childish fantasy, his fear deepens and he starts to suspect they are concealing something far darker. Isolated and desperate for answers, Peter begins to investigate the source of the noise — and in doing so threatens to uncover a sinister family secret that may change everything he thought he knew.
