In "Mortal Kombat", Cole Young, MMA's fighter (mixed martial arts), accustomed to receiving beatings for money, does not know his ancestry, and does not know why Emperor Shang Tsung from Outworld has sent his best warrior, sub- Zero, a supernatural cryomancer, to hunt school. Cole fears for the safety of his family and looks for Sonya Blade following the instructions of Jax, a commander of the special forces that has the same strange dragon brand with which Cole was born. It soon arrives at the temple of Lord Raiden, an old God and the protector of Earthrealm, who offers refuge to those who take the brand. Here, Cole trains with the experienced Warriors Liu Kang, Kung Lao and the Mercenary Rebel Kano, while preparing to face the greatest champions of the Earth against the enemies of Outworld (the outside world) in a battle of enormous size by the universe . We will see if Cole's efforts are rewarded and manage to unlock his arcane -that immense power that arises from the interior of his soul -in time to save not only his family, but to stop outworld once and for all.
