A year after a tragic accident, a woman joins five friends on a reunion caving trip deep in the Appalachian mountains. When a rockfall seals their entrance, the group becomes trapped in a maze of tight, dark tunnels with dwindling supplies. As they search for a way out they discover they are not alone — subterranean, predator-like creatures stalk them in the darkness. Cut off from help and pushed to their limits, the women's fear, grief and mistrust begin to unravel, turning their escape into a desperate fight for survival.
