Josh Baskin, a young teen fed up with being treated like a kid, makes a wish at a carnival fortune-telling machine to be "big" — and wakes the next morning in an adult body while still thinking like a boy. Forced to navigate the grown-up world, he and his best friend head to New York, where Josh lands a job at a toy company, stumbles into his first romantic relationship, and discovers the perks and pitfalls of adulthood.
