Archer is an animated half-hour adult comedy that follows Sterling Archer, a sharp-tongued, highly skilled — and deeply self-absorbed — master spy. Set at the International Secret Intelligence Service (ISIS), the series treats global crises and covert ops as excuses for the staff’s petty rivalries, romantic entanglements and continual self-sabotage, turning missions into chaotic, often absurd misadventures. At the center are Archer’s fraught relationships: his domineering mother and boss Malory Archer, his ex and fellow agent Lana Kane (whose relationship with comptroller-turned-agent Cyril Figgis fuels more drama), and a cast of eccentric coworkers — Pam, Cheryl, Ray and the oddball scientist Krieger.
