Twilight, a top covert operative, must create a believable family as part of a delicate undercover assignment: enroll a child in an elite private school to get close to influential targets. To pull it off he quickly marries a mild-mannered city hall employee and adopts a little girl—only to discover that each member of the household carries a secret of their own. His new wife is actually a deadly assassin, the daughter can read minds, and even their pet has uncanny abilities.
