Planet Spaceball is running out of air, so its clueless leader President Skroob tasks the comically menacing Dark Helmet with kidnapping Princess Vespa of Druidia and forcing her father to reveal the code that protects the planet’s atmosphere. Mercenary pilot Lone Starr and his half-man, half-dog sidekick Barf — aided by the droid Dot Matrix and the quirky sage Yogurt, keeper of the mystical "Schwartz" — race to rescue Vespa while evading the loan-shark Pizza the Hutt and the Spaceballs’ bungled schemes. The result is a madcap sci‑fi romp in which courage, foolishness and a little magic must combine to save Druidia.
