The Farewell (2019) Netflix
After discovering that their beloved matriarch is suffering from terminal lung cancer, her family decides that she doesn't know, and they call a family reunion in China that everyone who has known her throughout her life is expected to attend. Although Billi's New York parents refuse to participate in what they see as a farce, Billi's headstrong young daughter heads to China so she can say goodbye to her grandmother and forge anew the lost ties to her family due to distance.
