As in 2072 the murders are strictly prohibited, the victims are sent through a time machine to the past (2042), where the Lopers, a group of hired murderers, are responsible for eliminating them and quickly get rid of their bodies. The problem arises when Joe (Gordon-Levitt), one of the Lopers, receives a very special assignment from the future: to eliminate himself (Bruce Willis).
