Sam Wheat and Molly Jensen are deeply in love, until Sam is killed in a seemingly senseless crime that leaves him trapped on Earth as a spirit. Unable to touch the living or directly reveal the truth, he discovers his death was no accident and that the woman he loves is now in danger.
