The Last of the Mohicans (1992) Netflix
Set during the French and Indian War in colonial America, the film follows Hawkeye — a white man raised by the fading Mohican nation — and his companions Uncas and Chingachgook. The three try to stay out of the larger struggle between British and French forces, but are forced into the conflict when they rescue two daughters of a British colonel, Cora and Alice, who have been singled out by a vengeful Huron warrior, Magua. As they escort the women toward safety and the besieged Fort William Henry, loyalties are tested and a romance blooms between Hawkeye and Cora, complicating loyalties on all sides. The journey draws the characters into escalating violence, personal revenge, and tragic consequences for the Mohicans and those around them.
