Rahim, imprisoned for an unpaid debt, is granted a two-day leave and sets out to persuade his creditor to withdraw a complaint after he makes a partial payment. While on furlough he stumbles across a bag of gold coins, and what begins as a pragmatic plan quickly turns into a moral crisis. Torn between honesty and a chance to change his fate, Rahim’s choices set off a series of unexpected consequences that test his integrity and the goodwill of those around him.
