Based on the true story of Richard Kuklinski, The Iceman follows a seemingly ordinary New Jersey husband and father who secretly builds a reputation as a cold-blooded contract killer from the 1960s into the 1980s. Starting in a film lab, Kuklinski is drawn into mob work and later freelances alongside increasingly dangerous partners, all while keeping his wife and daughters unaware of his crimes. As mob politics, moral compromises and his own choices escalate, the two lives he leads collide, ultimately leading to his arrest and exposure.
