For centuries, two races have evolved in the depths of the Earth: the aristocratic and sophisticated vampires and the brutal werewolf (Lycans), whose existence had always been part of the world of myths and legends. These night races are mortal enemies and are doomed to live in perpetual war until only one of them survives. Amid this ancestral conflict, a Vampire Warrior, Selene, discovers a conspiracy by the Lycans to kidnap Michael, a young doctor. After following him throughout the city, Selene engages in an unusual relationship with him, and when the Lycans decide to attack, he stands between them and the doctor. As he attempts to save Michael, he discovers a plan by the Lycans to create new creatures that combine the powers of both races and lack his weaknesses. This project, if made reality, would favor the Wolfmen.
