In one of his last nights as high school students, Evan (Michael Cera) and Seth (Jonah Hill), two misfit friends, will encounter various difficulties in buying drinks for a party which they have invited the girls of their dreams. The indescribable McLovin (Christopher Mintz-Plasse) will accompany them in this peripeteia, another misfit who has just bought a fake card to serve as a safe conduct in the alcohol purchase.
