Arrakis, the planet of the desert, a fief of the Harkonnen family for generations, remains in the hands of the Domerides House after the emperor gives to this the exploitation of the Specia reserves, one of the most valuable raw materials of the Galaxy and also a drug capable of amplifying consciousness and extending life. The Duke Leto (Oscar Isaac), the lady Jessica (Rebecca Ferguson) and the son of both, Paul Domerides (Timothée Chalamet), arrive on the planet with the hope of recovering the renown of his house, but will soon be wrapped in a plot of betitions and deceptions that will lead them to question their trust among their most relatives and value the locals, the Fremen, a line of desert inhabitants with a close relationship with the kind.
