Natalie Bauer, a hopelessly romantic LA writer, thinks she’s found the perfect match on a dating app and flies across the country to surprise him for the holidays. When she arrives in New York she discovers she’s been catfished: the charming man she fell for online used pictures of a handsome local, Tag, while the man waiting at the airport is Josh — awkward, well-meaning, and the actual owner of the account. Josh offers to set up a meeting with Tag if Natalie will pretend to be his girlfriend over Christmas, launching a funny, heartfelt holiday romp as the trio navigates deception, attraction, and what it really means to find love.
