But Constantine is not a saint: disappointed by the world around him and confronted with the afterlife, he is a bitter hero who smokes heavily, leads a hard life, and despises the unique idea of heroism. When a desperate but skeptical police detective (Rachel Weisz) receives their help in solving the mysterious death of her beloved twin sister, their investigation takes them through the world of demons and angels beneath Los Angeles, trapped in a series of his events.
