Constantine (2005) Netflix
John Constantine (Keanu Reeves) has been to hell and back. Born with a gift he did not want, the ability to clearly recognize the hybrid angels and demons that walk the earth in human guise, Constantine was driven to take his life from tormenting visions. However, against his will he got up and was seen again in the world of the living; although due to the suicide attempt he became a mortal being. Thereafter, he patrolled the land border between heaven and hell, vainly hoping to obtain salvation by sending the devil's sabirrhes into the depths. But Constantine is not a saint: disappointed by the world around him and confronted with the afterlife, he is a bitter hero who smokes heavily, leads a hard life, and despises the unique idea of heroism. When a desperate but skeptical police detective (Rachel Weisz) receives their help in solving the mysterious death of her beloved twin sister, their investigation takes them through the world of demons and angels beneath Los Angeles, trapped in a series of his events.
