When Nick Brewer (Adrian Grenier), a family father, is kidnapped with a sinister and macabre online game, the people closest to him will try against a clock to discover who is behind the kidnapping and what are his latest intentions. It all starts when Nick's younger sister, Pia Brewer (Zoe Kazan), discovers an online video of her brother where he appears bloody and with a sign in which he reads: "At 5 million views I will die."
