Nine-year-old Benni is a traumatised, explosive child whose desperate hunger for love and for a return to her mother drives her into violent outbursts and the collapse of every placement she’s put into. Branded a “system crasher" by child-protection services and even feared by her own mother, Benni seems impossible to help—until social worker Mrs. Bafané brings in Micha, a gruff anger-management trainer, as her school escort. Their uneasy bond becomes the first real chance for stability, raising the question of whether connection can overcome the turmoil that has defined Benni’s life.
