The Evil Dead (1981) Netflix
A group of friends head to a remote mountain cabin for a weekend getaway and stumble upon a decaying book and a set of mysterious recordings in the cellar. When the tapes are played and the incantations spoken aloud, a malignant force from the surrounding woods is unleashed, and one by one the visitors are taken over by violent, flesh-possessing entities.
