At BabyCo, two scientists secretly study extraordinary infants who are born knowing the universe’s secrets and communicate with one another in a hidden, highly advanced baby language. Their research—used to fund the company’s baby-themed empire—relies on a disturbing discovery: when these children turn two and begin speaking with adults, they lose their innate genius. Trouble starts when Sly, the cleverest baby, breaks out of the lab, only to cross paths with his identical twin Whit; a mistaken swap sends Whit back to the facility and Sly home with Whit’s adoptive mother. What follows is a race to expose the truth and free the captive infants before the scientists can exploit or silence them.
