British agent James Bond (Daniel Craig)'s first assignment as Agent 007 leads him to Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen), a banker to terrorists from around the world. To stop and dismantle the terrorist network, Bond must defeat it in a high-stakes game of poker at Casino Royale. At first, Bond doesn't like Vesper Lynd (Eva Green), the beautiful Treasury official who is supposed to keep an eye on the government's money.
