After losing her job as a hotel maid in New York, Allie reluctantly accepts a temporary position as governess to a young, headstrong princess in a small European kingdom. Hired through a kind-hearted attendant, she travels to Winshire and slowly wins over the widowed king’s difficult daughter while navigating palace life and the divided staff.
