Kenji Koiso, a shy eleventh-grader and math prodigy, accepts a surprising invitation from his crush Natsuki to spend the summer at her large, traditional family home in Nagano—his “job" is to pose as her fiancé for her spirited great-grandmother Sakae’s 90th birthday. While trying to play the part amid the boisterous Jinnouchi clan, Kenji receives a cryptic mathematical puzzle on his laptop that he can’t help but solve. That solution unintentionally triggers a takeover of OZ, a vast virtual network that handles much of the world’s social and commercial activity. As the digital assault spills into the real world, Natsuki’s family rallies together under Sakae’s leadership to help Kenji undo the damage and protect both their home and the global online community. The film blends a coming-of-age story with a high-stakes cyber crisis, celebrating family solidarity, bravery, and the human side of technology.
