R-Point (2004) Netflix
During the Vietnam War, a South Korean base intercepts a radio transmission from a patrol that disappeared months earlier at a place known as R-Point. Lieutenant Choi Tae-in, himself haunted as the lone survivor of a past engagement, is ordered to lead an eight-man squad into the jungle to find the missing soldiers. As they pass a foreboding stone marking the boundary and shelter in a ruined temple, unsettling rumors and radio voices from the vanished unit begin to surface. What starts as a reconnaissance-and-rescue mission soon unravels into a tense, eerie struggle with guilt, strange phenomena, and the suggestion that the ground itself may refuse to let them leave.
