Parasite follows the struggling Kim family — father Ki-taek, mother Chung-sook, son Ki-woo and daughter Ki-jung — who seize a chance to infiltrate the lives of the wealthy Park household when Ki-woo is hired as a tutor. Through forged credentials and carefully staged manipulations, each Kim gradually replaces members of the Parks’ domestic staff, enjoying the comforts of their employers’ privileged world while hiding their true circumstances. What begins as an inventive hustle to escape poverty soon spirals into a tense, darkly comic examination of class, entitlement and how far people will go when survival and greed collide.
