The Departed (2006) Netflix
The Massachusetts Police Department faces the largest organized crime gang in the city of Boston. The strategy is to end from within with Frank Costello, the powerful chief of the Irish mafia (Jack Nicholson). The head of the gang is a young rookie, Billy Costigan (Leonardo DiCaprio). While Billy tries to gain the confidence of Costello, another young policeman, Colin Sullivan (Matt Damon), quickly rises in rank and occupies a position in the Special Investigations unit, an elite group whose mission is also to wipe out Costello. What no one knows is that Colin is a mole infiltrated into the police by Costello himself.
