A Moment to Remember (2004) Netflix United States

A Moment to Remember

Kim Sun-jin, a 27-year-old fashion designer reeling from a painful breakup with a married coworker, has an awkward encounter with a handsome construction foreman at a convenience store. When she later recognizes him as Choi Chul-soo — a rough-edged but skilled carpenter who works for her father's construction company and dreams of becoming an architect — a tentative romance begins. Both guarded by past hurts, they slowly open up to one another and build a deep bond, only to have their relationship brutally tested when Sun-jin is diagnosed with a rare, early-onset form of Alzheimer’s. The film follows their love, resilience, and the sacrifices they make as memory and time threaten to pull them apart.
