Second World War (1939-1945). In German-occupied France, Shosanna Dreyfus (Mélanie Laurent) witnessed the execution of her family by order of Colonel Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz). After fleeing to Paris, she adopted a new identity as the owner of a cinema. Elsewhere in Europe, Lieutenant Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) trained a group of Jewish soldiers ("The Basterds") to attack concrete targets. Raine’s men and a German actress (Diane Kruger), who works for the Allies, must carry out a mission to bring down the leaders of the Third Reich. Fate wants everyone to be under a cinama’s marquisine where Shosanna waits for revenge.
