Forced to start in search of a new place to live, the first prehistoric family ventures to explore the world with the aim of locating a safer place to call home. But when they find an idyllic walled paradise that meets all their needs, they find that this place hides a surprise: there is another family that already lives there, the Masmejor. And it is that the Masmejor, with its elaborate house in a tree, its amazing inventions and its huge gardens, go a couple of steps ahead of the croods on the evolutionary scale. And when they receive them as their first guests, they do not take time to emerge between our beloved cave and their newly modern new ones. When everything seems lost, a new threat embarks the two families in an epic adventure beyond the safety of the wall, which will force them to park their differences, to combine strength and fight for a future together.
