Dr. Louis Creed, his wife and two children settle in a house near a busy road. Near the house there is a trail leading to an animal cemetery and also to an ancient Indian cemetery; according to legend, those buried there will come back to life. Louis will see that it is true when his daughter’s cat is run over by a truck and a strange neighbor named Jud resurrects the little animal.
