Series that narrates the efforts of the United States, mainly through the DEA, and the authorities and police of Colombia, to fight in the 1980s against drug dealer Pablo Escobar and the Medellín cartel, one of the richest and most ruthless criminal organizations in the history of modern crime. In the third season the goal of the DEA and the Colombian police is to try to end the Cali cartel. The following seasons are set in Mexico, it is an independent series with a new frontrunner, called "Narcos: Mexico", with new plot and new characters.
