Julie (Hilary Swank) lost her parents when she was just a child. Now seventeen, she has become a difficult teenager, so her grandmother decides to leave her for a few weeks under the guardianship of Mr. Miyagi (Pat Morita), an old friend of hers, to correct her attitude.
