A devout young woman discovers that she has been artificially inseminated by mistake. When Jane Villanueva was a child, her grandmother made two things clear to her: soap operas are the best form of entertainment and losing your virginity is the worst thing that can happen to a woman. At 23 years old and in the middle of Miami, Jane is a responsible and pious girl, excited to create a future with a perfect boyfriend with whom she, of course, does not have relationships. But all her plans come to an end when she accidentally gets inseminated by a gynecologist who goes through a rough patch. Paradoxes of fate, the sperm belongs to Rafael, Jane's former crush, now married to a twisted woman and owner of the hotel where he works. Then Jane is forced to radically change her perspective: now her life is the best soap opera and she is the protagonist.
